69db is a founding member of Spiral Tribe, the sound system that took free-party techno across Europe from the early 1990s onwards. Based in France, he plays fully improvised live sets built on hardware, with a rough, fast and hypnotic sound that stays true to the sound system roots. He has released on Spiral Tribe affiliated labels and continues to tour with the collective and on his own, including a live improvised set in the UFO II tunnel at Dekmantel Ten.
