Alicia Carrera

Alicia Carrera is a Barcelona-based multidisciplinary artist who returned to the city after a spell in Berlin. Alongside DJing she works as a graphic artist, photographer and editorial designer, and she manages the cult Barcelona label Hivern Discs. Her selections pull from opposite ends of the spectrum, colourful and psychedelic, dark and experimental, slow and cosmic or hard and techno, and she joins them with a steady hand, both in clubs across Europe and on radio shows for NTS and others. Her Dekmantel Podcast was a slow, cinematic journey through mid-tempo grooves, sombre trumpets, jazz drums and cosmic drones, with tracks by Akira Ito, Doug Wimbish and Pink Industry. She played Dekmantel Selectors 2019.
