Andy Martin
Andy Martin is a Mexican Jamaican electronic artist who mixes sci-fi techno with Latin and Caribbean sounds. His album Antiguos Astronautas explored techno through a Native American futurist narrative, and its tracks reached sets by DVS1, Ben UFO, Blawan, Nastia and Richie Hawtin at clubs such as Berghain, Tresor, Fabric and Bassiani. On Mole Audio he released a collaboration with the dub pioneer Lee Scratch Perry. His ambient work, including the album The Language of Sound, has taken him to museums and galleries and to MUTEK in Mexico and Japan in 2020. He built his name as a DJ in Mexico, sharing bills with DJ Stingray, Skee Mask and Aurora Halal, later settled in Germany, and played Dekmantel Selectors in 2025.
