Azu Tiwaline
Azu Tiwaline is a producer who lives between Tunisia and France and draws on her roots in the Saharan south. Her music mixes the organic and the raw: polyrhythmic percussion, field recordings of water, birds and chants, dub pressure and hypnotic techno. Her debut album, Draw Me A Silence, released in 2020 on I.O.T. Records, joined traditional Amazigh music with contemporary dub and techno and was followed by remix and extended editions. Further records include the Magnetic Service, Alandazu and Fluids In Motion EPs, The Fifth Dream and work for Livity Sound. She recorded Dekmantel Podcast 296, played Dekmantel Festival 2022 at Shelter, and later shared a set at the festival with Al Wootton.
