Benny Rodrigues

Benny Rodrigues is one of the best-known DJs to come out of the Netherlands, and Rotterdam is his home turf. He has been named the country's most influential DJ, a title earned through decades of work in the booth. Under his own name he plays groove-laden, high-adrenaline house and tech-house with influences from Detroit, minimal and acid. Under his ROD alias he turns to unrelenting techno, and it was in that guise that he teamed up with Sterac to flood the UFO stage at Dekmantel Festival. Whichever moniker he brings, the set is built for momentum, and once he is in action the room tends to stay with him until the end.
