BertBert

BertBert is an Amsterdam DJ, avid vinyl and mp3 collector and self-described tracklist fundamentalist. For eight years he was head of festivals and label at Dekmantel, which gave him a close view of the workings of the music industry, and he has long been part of the Dekmantel family. As a DJ he has played around the world, juxtaposing music from every corner of the experimental electronic spectrum, a habit reflected in the name of his Juxtapose project. He runs the label topo2, hosts a monthly show on Echobox Radio and works as a strategic culture consultant. He played Dekmantel Selectors in 2016, 2021 and 2022, and went back to back with Rik Payne there in 2017 and 2019.
