Boj Tieman

Boj Tieman grew up in a musical family and started on drums, hooked by the 5/4 of Dave Brubeck's Take Five, before more than a decade of vinyl collecting took over. Based in Amsterdam, he digs across world music rarities, obscure disco, house and dubby breakbeats, and his sets pull those strands together with a deeper layer that holds a room whatever its size. Known for eccentric mixing and an easygoing, uplifting take on house, he has played Claire, Paradiso, Skatecafé, Woodstock, PIP in The Hague and Amsterdam Dance Event, hosted the Café Belgique show on Red Light Radio, and appears on Operator Radio in Rotterdam. He also DJs as part of Disko Dinozò.
