Bony Fly

Bony Fly is a DJ and producer from Geneva with roots in Switzerland and Guatemala. He started producing in 2011, setting up a studio to record bands, musicians and vocalists for his own projects, and his early productions drew on eighties digital reggae, nineties dancehall, dub and Latin music. In 2015 he launched Sparring Partners, an independent label rooted in sound system culture that releases limited vinyl editions, and his tracks have also appeared on Cubiculo Records, Pure Niceness, Chinese Man Records, Warrior Dread and Cultural Warriors. In his sets and productions he bridges Caribbean and Latin music, connecting reggaetón and dancehall and widening them with other genres from sound system culture.
