Bored Lord

Bored Lord is Daria Lourd, raised in Memphis, where she played in punk bands and produced for rap artists. In 2016 she moved to Oakland, threw raves with the collective Trash Cvlt and learned to DJ in Club Chai workshops, and the Bay Area's queer rave scene became her home. Her productions join UK hardcore, jungle and drum and bass to American bass music such as Jersey club and Florida breaks, often around pop samples from the 2000s. The sample-heavy edits she released during lockdown built her audience. She records for Knightwerk and for T4T LUV NRG, the label of Eris Drew and Octo Octa, which released her album Name It in 2023, the same year as the self-released 3213123.
