Borusiade

Borusiade is Miruna Boruzescu, born and raised in Bucharest, where she started DJing in 2002 as one of the few women in the city's emerging alternative club scene. A classical music education and a degree in film directing fed into her sets, and from 2005 into her own productions. After moving to Berlin she developed a dark, melodic sound of poignant bass lines and obsessive themes. Her debut EP Jeopardy came out on Cómeme in 2016, followed by records on Correspondant, Cititrax, Unterton and Pinkman, and the albums A Body on Cómeme and Fortunate Isolation on Dark Entries. She has also contributed tracks to Dekmantel and hosts The Dreamcatcher on Radio Cómeme.
