Bufiman

Jan Schulte is a resident at Düsseldorf's Salon des Amateurs and records as both Wolf Müller and Bufiman. The Bufiman alias is where his sense of humour and his heaviest rhythms meet: electro-boogie, post-punk, prog-funk, synth-pop, Italo, rave, acid and deep house, rebuilt with a Rhineland twist. He joined Dekmantel with the Peace Moves EP and followed it with the album Albumsi, the first Bufiman record made after he left an eleven-year day job, plus a companion Albumsi Rhythm Trax set of drum versions. He also curated the Tropical Drums Of Deutschland compilation and has made ambient records with Cass.
