Buttechno

Buttechno is Pavel Milyakov, the artist behind PSY X Records. His ability to manipulate sound and massage rhythm into new forms defines his sets, which tend to start deep and atmospheric, with swampy dub, sub-aquatic bass and funky static electricity, before slowly morphing into more fulsome body music. Whether on record or in the booth, the approach is the same: a warm, elastic take on techno that is stripped back but packed with an inviting and playful charm. He has recorded a mix for the Dekmantel Podcast.
