Cari Lekebusch

Stockholm's Cari Lekebusch, born in 1972, is one of the architects of the sound the world came to call Swedish techno, alongside Adam Beyer, Joel Mull, Alexi Delano and Jesper Dahlbäck. Raised on electro, hip-hop, Kraftwerk and his parents' record collection, he launched Hybrid Sound Architectures in 1994, later renamed H. Productions, and grew it into a family of labels including Kaun Trax, Djupt, Audio Mekanixc and the experimental hip-hop imprint Grundtakt. Under his own name and aliases such as Braincell, Mr. James Barth, Vector and Shape Changer he has released on Drumcode, Code Red, Truesoul, Planet Rhythm, Harthouse, Novamute and Soma. He played Dekmantel's tenth-anniversary edition, and presented his Vector project at Dekmantel Festival 2026.
