Champion

Champion is an East London producer with a taste for low-end basslines and dazzling rhythmic patterns. He made his mark on the UK underground in 2011 with the Motherboard EP on Terror Danjah's Hardrive label, and went on to release Crystal Meth on Butterz and the Rainforest EP on Roska Kicks & Snares, music touching on house, UK funky and grime. His own label Formula Records became the home for tracks such as Lighter, Sensitivity and Crazy, and ran a residency at London's East Village with guests including Ossie, Royal-T and Swindle. His productions found their way into sets by Four Tet, Benji B and Ben UFO. He played Dekmantel Selectors in 2025.
