Charlotte Bendiks

Charlotte Bendiks comes from Tromsø, where she ran her own club series, helped shape Insomnia Festival and released two records on Mental Overdrive's Love OD label. A move to Cologne brought her close to Coma and Lena Willikens and started a long bond with Düsseldorf's Salon des Amateurs. Her productions of stripped, dancefloor-focused house minimalism led to the Hidden Tracks EP on Cómeme in 2017. As a DJ and live performer she leans deep, dark and psychedelic, and her travels have taken her from the Dengue Dancing parties in Buenos Aires to festival sites in Hanoi, Montevideo, Marseille and Berlin. She took part in the Keychange programme and played Dekmantel Festival 2018, running classic house, disco and global grooves together.
