Coki

Dean Harris, from Norwood in South London, is Coki, one half of Digital Mystikz with Mala and a co-founder of the DMZ label and club night that gave dubstep its early home alongside FWD. Self-taught on Reason, he made the LFO-driven wobble his signature. Tortured, Haunted and Spongebob became blueprints for the tear-out side of the genre, and Night with Benga was one of dubstep's first crossover records. His Don't Get It Twisted label carries his harder material, with further releases through Tempa, Gottingham and Wheel & Deal. He played the Greenhouse at Dekmantel Festival, where Spongebob went off, and Digital Mystikz have appeared there as a duo.
