Courtesy is a Danish DJ, composer, performer and visual artist based in Berlin. She founded the interdisciplinary platform Against Interpretation Club, formerly known as Kulør, and acts as its artistic director, curating releases, publications and events. Her regular NTS show carries techno, electro and house, and her club sets have taken her to Berghain and Panorama Bar, Tresor, Sónar, Primavera Sound, Club to Club and Atonal. Her practice centres on bringing people together, whether on a dancefloor, in her photography or in the choral performances she organises. As an artist she has exhibited and performed at CCA Berlin, Den Fri Udstillingsbygning and Arken, and her second studio album, intimate yell, came out in 2024. She played Dekmantel Ten.
