David Cornelissen

David Cornelissen is the Amsterdam DJ and record collector who shapes the musical direction of Dekmantel as its head of creative and festival programmer. He has said that sound is always an all round experience, and he led the collaboration with Floating Points that put a custom Sunflower sound system inside a redesigned Greenhouse stage, booking artists who could work with it. Behind the decks, also under the alias no service, he draws on years of digging, with a dancefloor selection rooted in psychedelic club music and a wide range beyond it. He has played De School in Amsterdam, Tresor in Berlin and Opium in Vilnius, and he is a regular at Nachtdigital and at Dekmantel Festival and Selectors.
