DEBONAIR

DEBONAIR is a London DJ and radio host who has been part of NTS since the station began in 2011. As its Programme Director in the early years she helped build the station, and her show there has hosted conversations with Mark Leckey, Lil Louis, Victoria Sin and Holly Herndon. Her record bag draws on post-punk, new wave, body music, proto-techno, the avant-garde and off-kilter house, with rough punk basslines, gnarly electro and EBM woven through. Those sets have run from sex clubs to art spaces: Unsound, Circo Loco, Cakeshop in Seoul, Nowadays in New York, De School, Panorama Bar and the Turbine Hall at Tate Modern. She mixed Dekmantel Podcast 257, a high-energy tour of techno and electro.
