Deniro

Deniro is a Dutch producer and DJ whose emotional machine music has its roots in Detroit-inspired soul. He spent more than fifteen years exploring vintage synthesisers largely in isolation before his tracks appeared on labels including трип, Token, Dekmantel, DGTL Records and Oblique Music. He is closely tied to Tape Records Amsterdam, the label he runs. In the booth he favours deeper classic house and up-tempo nineties techno, building sets that cross genres on a steady, contagious groove. He has played Printworks London, Awakenings and Reaktor, appeared at Dekmantel Festival across several editions from 2016, and joined STERAC for a Dekmantel Connects set in 2020.
