Dino Sabatini

Italian-born producer Dino Sabatini makes techno that draws on myth and ritual, dubby and hypnotic yet crisply produced. His own label, Outis, takes its name from the pseudonym Odysseus used to fool the cyclops in Homer's Odyssey, and his track titles invoke figures such as Poseidon and Mnemosyne. He has recorded for Stroboscopic Artefacts, Adam X's Sonic Groove and Prologue, which released the Daughters of Phorcys EPs and the concept album Shaman's Path, and for Elettronica Romana as Modern Heads, his duo with Gianluca Meloni. The album Omonimo features jazz pianist Antonello Salis, and his collaborators include Donato Dozzy, Claudio PRC, Giorgio Gigli and Luigi Tozzi, with whom he has played live at Dekmantel Festival.
