DJ Autumn

DJ Autumn is a fixture of the UK dance music scene in several roles at once. He is label manager at Banoffee Pies Records, the Bristol-born, Berlin-based imprint and network of sub-labels such as Otaku, Beats, Limited Series and the ambient Sonder Series, which plots a path between broken beat, garage and minimal club sounds. Those styles run through his own DJ sets and his radio shows for Worldwide FM, NTS and the BBC, and in 2019 he founded Headroom Festival. His Dekmantel Podcast, recorded in 2021, moved from ambient and sci-fi tinged openers through atmospheric, bass-heavy material into skeletal jungle, a route from high tempo intensity to tripped-out atmospherics that stays cool and controlled throughout.
