DJ Bus Replacement Service

DJ Bus Replacement Service is a British selector who turns throwaway sounds into dance floor moments. The habit started in childhood, taping Dr. Demento shows off AM radio, and grew into scouring the murkiest corners of the web for music no other DJ would find, let alone dare to play. The project began in April 2009 as Spannered Oddcast 8 and took shape around Chin Stroke Records and the Bang Face raves, before a live form emerged in late 2015, performed in a latex supreme leader mask at clubs and festivals across Europe. The sets are a rapid-fire rush of left turns and sly sequencing that connect scenes with no logical overlap, pitched between serenity and absurdity. The project also produced the RA podcast 610.
