DJ Polo

DJ Polo is a Bristol DJ and producer working at the meeting point of UK funky, gqom and the city's hard drum sound. His records have come out on Roska Kicks and Snares, Night Slugs, Livity Sound, More Time, Club Djembe, GRID and Even The Strong, and he contributed to 32A003, a City Road Records tribute to the final home of the Idle Hands record shop. Collaboration runs through the catalogue: The Link Up with Tribal Brothers combines gqom and UK funky, while his work with NKC, including Yeyeyeye and Lab Rat, delivers heavy percussion built for the peak of a club night. His own Bandcamp carries a steady stream of flips and edits. He played Lentekabinet Festival in 2023.
