Dj Red

DJ Red is a central figure in Rome's techno scene. She built her name as a resident at the city's Goa Club, the venue that shaped Roman club culture, and for two decades has split her time between Rome and Berlin, with regular sets at Berghain, Tresor and OHM. Her own productions have appeared on Electric Deluxe, Wolfskuil, BPitch and Danza Tribale, with remixes from Ricardo Villalobos, Speedy J, Lucy and Stanislav Tolkachev. The sound combines electronic drums, organic tones and esoteric machines, aiming for something ethereal and aqueous underneath the drive. She has played Awakenings, Exit, Terraforma and Dekmantel Festival.
