DJ Slimzee

Dean Fullman, known as Slimzee, is a DJ, broadcaster and producer from Bow in East London. In 1994 he co-founded Rinse FM with Geeneus, and for its first years the station's studio was in his home. A founding member of the Pay As U Go Cartel with Wiley and others, he pushed darker garage into his sets as the sound turned into grime, and his Sunday afternoon Rinse shows became a proving ground for unreleased instrumentals, dubplates and MCs such as Dizzee Rascal, Wiley, D Double E, Skepta and Riko Dan. He received a gold disc for his part in Boy in da Corner. He later hosted Slimzos Sessions on NTS and later resumed shows on Rinse, and has released productions with Boylan and Trends.
