DJ Sundae

DJ Sundae is a Parisian DJ and label runner whose record collection spans dusty shelves, private presses and all shades of electronic music. He first released lost productions by Nirosta Steel, the psych-folk project linked to Arthur Russell, on Hollie Records, and went on to run Idle Press, which has reissued a no-wave record by Pitch with a Tolouse Low Trax rework, released music by Smagghe and Cross and compiled proto-trance edits by Alexis Le-Tan. With Julien Dechery he selected Sky Girl, a compilation of folk-pop and DIY new wave songs, and his mixes have appeared on The Trilogy Tapes and Good Morning Tapes. He co-hosts No Weapon Is Absolute on NTS with Cosmo Vitelli and played Dekmantel Selectors in 2022.
