DMX Krew

DMX Krew is Ed Upton, who grew up in Bedford and moved to London at eighteen, and who has been a fixture of DIY electronic music since the early nineties. He became a key artist on Aphex Twin's Rephlex label, with six albums and eighteen releases there before it closed in 2012, and has put out dozens more records on labels including his own Breakin' Records, Permanent Vacation, Central Processing Unit and Balkan Vinyl. Working almost entirely with hardware, he has covered acid, electro, boogie, synth pop, techno, IDM, Italo and house, and the Collapse of the Wave Function series took a more experimental turn. His many aliases include Ed DMX, Computor Rockers and Bass Potato. He played live at Lentekabinet Festival in 2018.
