DTM Funk

DTM Funk is an Antwerp DJ who has shaped the city's and Belgium's club culture for well over a decade, with a steady commitment to local talent and to spaces for different kinds of listening. Through Black Gravity he explores and recontextualises the history and future of Black club music; what started as a club concept grew into a platform for club nights, film screenings and performances, and later a listening room and record store, Black Gravity Records. He is a longtime collaborator of Horst Festival. His sets follow soul, groove and rhythm rather than genre, moving between percussion-driven grooves, jazz-funk and soul records, raw and sensual house and unexpected left turns. He played Dekmantel Selectors in 2022 alongside AliA.
