Epsilove

Epsilove is Isabelle Maitre, a French producer and DJ formerly one half of Syracuse and closely tied to the Antinote label. Her solo work is exotic machine music: sensuous, melodic electro with nostalgic acid basslines, interstellar synths and dreamy, cinematic vocals that carry a cold-wave sensuality. The picture is of chic dancers under neon light, but the records also lean into sturdier warehouse territory, with heaving 808s and an experimental edge. Her Dekmantel debut, the Psychic Venom EP, brought that vocal-led, euphoric electro to the label along with remixes from fellow French producers.
