FAUZIA

FAUZIA is always evolving. The UK DJ, producer and live act first broke through as a DJ who played fast music, be it techno, electro, IDM or bass-heavy breaks. Her NTS show has always shown a different side, where anything from soul to jazz can be called upon to tell a story. As a producer since 2020 she has mined a more emotive seam with releases that explore dub, ambient and jungle, and she has collaborated with Kelela and sings more and more on her own material. She works in many worlds with equal style and skill. Her club sets set the scene with escapist ambience and deep, beatless jungle before serious breakbeats arrive, from heavy and apocalyptic to blissed out and astral, sometimes with her own voice woven in.
