Fixmer
Terence Fixmer is a French producer and live act who came to electronic music through new beat and techno in Belgium in the early nineties. He founded the label Planete Rouge in 1998, and his debut album Muscle Machine on DJ Hell's International Deejay Gigolo Records fused electro, industrial, EBM and techno into what became known as techno body music, with tracks such as Electrostatic and Body Pressure. With Nitzer Ebb's Douglas McCarthy he formed Fixmer/McCarthy, whose album Between the Devil is a reference point for the style. Later albums include Comedy of Menace on Electric Deluxe, Depth Charged on CLR, Through the Cortex on Ostgut Ton and Shifting Signals on Mute. He has remixed Depeche Mode, Front 242 and Nitzer Ebb.
