Marc Veira, known as Flowdan, is a London MC and producer from the first wave of grime, with roots in drum and bass and jungle. He was a founding member of Roll Deep, which he named, and appears across its five albums, and he was one of the voices on Lethal Bizzle's Pow (Forward). His deep voice and patois lyrics have become central to the work of The Bug, on tracks including Skeng and Bad. Solo albums include Original Dan, Disaster Piece and Full Metal Jacket, and in 2015 he founded the SpentShell label. His collaboration Rumble with Skrillex and Fred Again won a Grammy in 2024, the first for a grime MC.
