Gaspar Antuña

Gaspar Antuña is a Madrid-based DJ, producer and secondary school music teacher with a long history behind the decks. He is one half of the production duo El Barrio Djs with Isaías Sanz, has worked as a music journalist on Radio Círculo's Electrónica & Roll, and has programmed clubs and rooms including Weekend Club, GOA, El Junco, Mondo Disko and Café Berlín. As a label manager he has looked after Appetizers Records for the duo Wagon Cookin' and Mondo Discos, tied to the club of the same name. His sets bring soul, disco, Latin, reggae and jazz together with house, nu disco and experimental electronics, a range summed up by the motto of his Papaia Club sessions: adult dance music. He played Dekmantel Selectors in 2023.
