Gilb'R

Gilb'R is Gilbert Cohen, born in Nice and based in Paris, a DJ, composer and producer who has been active since 1989. He founded Versatile Records, the Paris label that marked thirty years and its fiftieth album in 2026 and whose catalogue includes Emmanuelle Parrenin and Detlef Weinrich. With his long-time partner I:Cube he forms the duo Château Flight, and I:Cube also mixes and co-produces his solo records. Those albums include Spaced Out, released in 2023, and L'École De La Nuit, the label's fiftieth long-player. His solo work is built around collaboration, and he describes it as an exploration of life and music.
