Gwenan

Gwenan is a DJ and producer whose path runs from the Welsh hills via London to Berlin. Inspired by early nineties Sheffield and Detroit and by the machines behind that music, she presents techno in all its forms, pulling together records on the morning of a gig and working the spaces between styles with an ears-first approach that puts body and mood before time and place. In the studio she moves from abstract electronics to dancefloor grooves using classic hardware, software and modular gear. She performs live as Phase Space and as Gin & Tonic with Eli Verveine, and she recorded a Dekmantel Podcast.
