I:Cube

I:Cube is the Paris producer and DJ Nicolas Chaix, a key figure in the city's underground house scene since the mid nineties. He sent a demo tape to Gilb'R, then a programmer at Radio Nova, and became the first artist on Gilb'R's new label Versatile, which has remained his home. Daft Punk remixed his track Disco Cubizm in 1996 and he returned the favour with a remix of Around The World the following year. His albums run from Picnic Attack and Adore to 3 and Eye Cube, and with Gilb'R he forms the duo Château Flight, known for the album Puzzle and the soundtrack Les Vampires. He played live with machines at Lentekabinet in 2023.
