I-F

I-F came up through the squats and pirate radio stations of The Hague in the early nineties and has shaped the city's sound ever since. He founded Intergalactic FM, a station broadcasting around the clock from The Hague, and the labels Viewlexx and Murder Capital, long-standing homes for outsider electro, Italo and machine music. His late nineties mixes Mixed Up In The Hague Vol. 1 and 2 helped spark a wider rediscovery of Italo and early electro, and his 1997 track Space Invaders Are Smoking Grass became a lasting reference. As Beverly Hills 808303 he makes distorted acid, and his space Panama Racing Club in The Hague hosts streams and events. His sets run from disco to acid, Italo to techno and cinematic synth oddities.
