Il Quadro Di Troisi

Il Quadro Di Troisi began as a project between Eva Geist and Donato Dozzy, born from a correspondence between the two about the late actor and director Massimo Troisi. That exchange shaped lyrics that flow like a cinematic monologue drawn from his own work. The self-titled debut album, released in October 2020 as a collaboration between the Raster label and Terraforma Festival, folded decades of Italian music history, from Italo disco to synth pop, into something vivid and present. In 2023 Pietro Micioni joined as a permanent member, making the duo a trio, and Raster issued a set of remixes of eight songs from the debut. The second album, La Commedia, followed in March 2024 on Raster and 42 Records, and the trio performed at Dekmantel Ten that year.
