Izabel

Izabel Caligiore is an Australian DJ and label owner behind Lullabies For Insomniacs. The name began as a radio show on Melbourne's PBS in 2013, a graveyard shift from 2 AM to 6 AM, and grew into a mix series with contributions from Chee Shimizu, Donato Dozzy, Tako and others, then into a label launched in 2016. The label's releases range from Sugai Ken's On The Quakefish and Unearth Noise to Life Garden, Air Cushion Finish, GP Hall and Yasuo Sugibayashi, all rooted in her studies in music and sound art. After Melbourne she lived in Amsterdam, where she held a Red Light Radio residency, before settling in Berlin. She played Dekmantel Selectors in 2018.
