Jane Fitz

Jane Fitz is a London DJ whose deep, cosmic sound rests on a collection of more than 8,000 records. Her path ran through soul, trip-hop, trance and psytrance: friends ran the trance label Platipus, she fell in with a psytrance crew in Singapore, and in Hong Kong she taught herself to mix and started playing house. She has lived in London, Hong Kong and, briefly, Serbia, and worked as a music journalist, editor and promoter alongside years as a jobbing DJ. Her sets move across ambient, acid, deep house, progressive, tribal and techno, and she is a regular at rural in Japan and Freerotation in Wales. She played Dekmantel Ten and presented Morning Colours at Dekmantel Festival.
