Jay Glass Dubs

Jay Glass Dubs is the project of Dimitris Papadatos, a composer, musician and sound artist born in 1981 and based in Athens. He treats dub as a counter-factual history, stripped to drums, bass, voice and effects, and his work turns on questions of copyright, spirituality and originality. A core member of the Bokeh Versions circle, he has released on Bokeh Versions, Ecstatic, Berceuse Heroique, The Tapeworm and DFA, including the albums Epitaph and SOMA, and made collaborative records with Not Waving as Not Glass, Guerilla Toss and Leslie Winer. His remixes include How To Dress Well for Domino. He has performed at Berlin Atonal, Meakusma and documenta 14, and was a Noods Radio resident from 2017 to 2019.
