Jetti

Jetti Steffers is a DJ, club founder, programmer and label head who has been a central figure in Rotterdam's underground for well over a decade. Inspired by Berlin's late-night bars, she began throwing parties in empty buildings on the West Kruiskade, then left university to co-found BAR, the club that shaped the city's modern nightlife until it closed in 2019. With her long-time partner Sjoerd Post she ran its music programme, and the two co-founded BAR Records to keep the sound of the venue alive. Her taste runs from jazz cafés with her father through electroclash and Italo to a base of sleek house and techno. She is a resident on Operator Radio and has played Dekmantel Selectors with Post in 2018 and 2021.
