Job Sifre

Job Sifre is an Amsterdam DJ and producer who was a resident at De School and hosted the monthly show Antikunst on Red Light Radio. His records sit between EBM and cold wave: his debut came out in 2017 on Artificial Dance, the label run by Interstellar Funk, and Het Bestaan followed on Knekelhuis in 2018, mastered by Ruud Lekx, its tracks ranging from the aggressive Zodiak to the more intricate At Least We Try. Reviewers placed the sound somewhere between Nitzer Ebb and Liaisons Dangereuses, powerful percussive salvos against refined harmonic lines. He cites Coil, Suicide and the Salon des Amateurs crew as influences and often plays back to back with Identified Patient, including at Dekmantel Selectors in Croatia.
