John Gómez

John Gómez is a London DJ and record collector whose work draws on music from many times and places. For the Amsterdam label Music From Memory he compiled Outro Tempo: Electronic And Contemporary Music From Brazil 1978-1992 and its sequel Outro Tempo II, which covers 1984 to 1996 and documents the synth-pop, ambient, art rock and experimental electronics of post-dictatorship Brazil and the São Paulo gallery scene. He has hosted NTS shows including Soup To Nuts and The Spaces In Between, recorded the RA.636 podcast and long-form Reencuentros mixes of piano, ambience and downtempo, and played the London listening bar Brilliant Corners. He played Dekmantel Selectors 2019 and Lentekabinet Festival 2022.
