Jonny Nash

Jonny Nash grew up in Edinburgh, moved to London at eighteen and settled in Amsterdam in 2017, where his Melody As Truth label shares a building with Music From Memory and Red Light Records. He founded the label in 2014 after years of balearic and cosmic disco work in projects such as Land of Light with Kyle Martin and Sombrero Galaxy with Tako Reyenga, with records on ESP Institute and Crue-L. Melody As Truth turned his focus to guitar, silence and natural space: a string of ambient records with Suzanne Kraft, an album with Gigi Masin, and the trio Gaussian Curve. His solo albums include Point Of Entry and Once Was Ours Forever, which folds folk fingerpicking, dream pop and ambient jazz into one quiet line.
