Juliana Huxtable

Juliana Huxtable is an artist, writer, performer and DJ born in Bryan-College Station, Texas. She moved to New York to study at Bard College and became part of the city's nightlife as co-founder of the party Shock Value and a member of the House of Ladosha collective. Her multidisciplinary practice treats the internet, the body, history and text as material, and she has exhibited and performed at the New Museum, the Museum of Modern Art, Artists Space and the Institute of Contemporary Arts. She is the author of two books. Her DJ sets carry the same boundary-crossing spirit as her art, and she recorded a mix for the Dekmantel Podcast. Booked through the Discwoman agency, she has been based in Berlin since 2020.
