Karima F

Karima F is a Norwegian-Algerian DJ and producer who cut her teeth in the Malmö scene while studying fine arts. Back in Oslo she took a weekly residency at Jaeger, where her style and record collection grew to the point that international bookings followed. With the Norwegian artist Ida Ekblad she runs the label Schloss from a disused Porsche repair shop. Her debut EP on Schloss in 2019, led by Random Loop From Doepfer Site, set breakbeats against house, and the follow-up Fief Fief filtered rave, trance and UK funky through minimal, percussive tracks. As a DJ she plays soul, hi-NRG disco, broken house and hammering breakbeats. She recorded a Dekmantel Podcast.
