Kasra V

Kasra V is a DJ and producer born in Tehran and based in London. Growing up with limited access to Western music, he relied on state radio and bootleg downloads, then moved to London at seventeen. He took up a residency at NTS in 2014 and has presented more than 200 shows, with guests including Yello, Tangerine Dream and Dream 2 Science. His sets run from Panorama Bar and Fabric to London queer parties such as Adonis and Homodrop. As a producer he blends ambient textures, orchestral swells, electro and nineties rave, with releases on Radiant Records and Sepehr's Shaytoon Records, and the two share the Iranian folklore-inspired project Flower Storm. In 2024 he launched his own label, V-sion, opening with a compilation that marked ten years at NTS.
