ketia

Born in Lisbon and now based in Berlin, ketia came up through the queer rave mina, starting on the coatcheck and ending up as a resident and the crew's technical fixer. They founded and co-organise Kit Ket, a trans-focused collective that folds house party warmth into rave pressure, and are one of the people behind the label and collective kaptcha, whose xenolith compilation series raised money for CASA T, a Lisbon shelter for trans people. In the booth ketia works the rhythmic side of house and techno, mixing pop memory with high-tempo rave nostalgia. Residencies at Kilowatt and Joyride sit alongside mixes for Possession and Discwoman, and bookings at Draaimolen, Whole, Atonal and Boiler Room.
